Samara is a Swiss-Brazilian type designer based between Berlin and Zurich. She discovered her passion for graphic design as a teenager and became fascinated by the visual potential of letters, leading her to pursue a career in the field. Between placing points and drawing curves, she has a passion for cartoons, watches, cubing, and the hands-on craft of letterpress printing.
Currently, she works as a freelance type designer, collaborating with clients on Mastering and expanding typefaces while also drawing her own typefaces.

Introducing the Costal Typefamily, a collection of unique and charming styles that squeeze the boundaries of cursive script. With its four carefully crafted weights, Costal is designed to be an ideal companion for sunny magazine reading. Within this typefamily, two cursive styles, Slanted and Script, capture the very essence of summer in their own distinct ways. The flowing curves evoke images of wide ocean waves, while the Slanted conjures up visions of sipping tangy margaritas at a beach bar. With Costal, immerse yourself in the spirit of the season.
